In this blog, I will share a perfect 2 day road trip plan from Vancouver to Seattle. In this road trip itinerary, I have included must visit places, things to do, and recommended stops on the route.
Since Vancouver is my home I have driven to Seattle multiple times. Every time I go on a road trip to USA, this is the route I take and have explored this area to the best. 2 Days Road Trip Itinerary from Vancouver to Seattle
Day 1: Vancouver to Seattle
Vancouver to Seattle is a journey in itself with amazing beaches, beautiful mountains and great places to see. I recommend you start your journey early morning to get the most out of your day. Vancouver
Start your day with a good and healthy breakfast at a local cafe or restaurant. It is good to start your day early so that you can explore most of the places in this itinerary. I have packed this itinerary with a lot of amazing places, if you want you can skip some of them depending on your choice.
Peace Arch Provincial Park
Located at the border of Canada and America, this gem has great historical significance. This place stands as a symbol of peace and friendship between the two countries. The Park is lush green with colourful flowers. This is one of the major border crossings and you’ll see a lot of tourists or travellers in the area. The parking could be a bit tricky but once you are here you’ll enjoy this amazing and beautiful park which serves nature lovers and history buffs.
Whatcom Falls Park
Whatcom Falls Park is a hidden gem for nature lovers and adventure seekers. This beautiful park features lush greenery, mesmerizing waterfall and serene walking trails. One of the main highlights of this park is the amazing network of trails in this park. For families, this is a great place to observe birds in this region. Make sure to keep your camera ready for any encounter.

Fairhaven
Located in the city of Bellingham, this area is famous for its old fashioned streets, historic buildings, and waterfront area. You’ll find yourself transported back in time to see the well preserved architecture and cobblestone streets. The waterfront will provide you with a panoramic view of Bellingham Bay. This is a must visit place if you are passing through this area.
Deception Pass State Park
This Pacific Northwest’s Hidden gem is a natural wonderland for travellers. The journey to this park is a treat in itself. There are multiple activities available to do at this park. With Peaceful Hiking trails in lush green forests and coastal water tides, this place is a wonder. One of the main highlights of Deception Pass State Park is a hidden beach tucked along the coast. I recommend you to not miss this park on your weekend getaway.

Fort Casey
Fort Casey is a perfect blend of History and natural beauty. The iconic Fort Casey Historical State Park is a former coastal defence fort that will take you back in time. One of the main highlights is climbing to the top of the fort’s iconic Admiralty Head Lighthouse. The panoramic view from the top is breathtaking which gives the Whidbey Island coastline view. Finish your day by checking in to your accommodation and visiting a local restaurant to enjoy an amazing dinner. I like Mexican food so when I was there last time I tried Plaza Garibaldi which was amazing. You can visit a restaurant of your choice and wrap up the day with a good meal.
Day 2: Seattle to Vancouver
On your 2nd day, you’ll start your journey back to Vancouver. I have some places within Seattle to explore which you can explore and enjoy. Prepare yourself for this journey and return to Vancouver with a lot of memories.
